meet the designers

welcome to the project runway project, where a group of semi-professional amateurs attempt to keep up with the competitions laid out in season 8 of project runway. we LOVE project runway.

kClare, 28
kClare is unhindered by seam allowances, grainlines, and stitch lengths. Nothing will stop this crazy designer from breaking boundaries...or saying exactly what she thinks. Though she's unconventional, her designs tend to be simple and modern. Expect something wild, but totally wearable from kClare this season.

David, 21
David, despite his lack of official training, always finds ways to integrate traditional design elements with modern pops of color and lines. Always ready with a sassy comment he is ready to see what 'hot tranny messes' are coming down the runway this season. Expect some fierce, fresh, and innovative designs from this little upstart kid.

Juja, 32

Juja loves the way a textile can manipulate the eye and enjoys what color can do to a design. A late starter in the "designer game" she considers herself grateful for having a unique aesthetic view. Construction is her biggest challenge and creativity her best friend. Expect to laugh, wonder, and question from Juja this season!

Tina, 20

Tina loves mixing modern fashion into classic silhouettes and vice versa. She prefers her designs to "speak for themselves" than to actually speak herself. Taking a lot of inspiration from Tim Burton, she has a love for the weird. Although seam allowances may occasionally slip her mind, you can expect some interesting and whimsical designs from Tina Bobina!

keep checking back as the designers update. and get ready for a fabulous season!
